Concerto for Seven Wind Instruments, Timpani, Percussion, and Strings
Trying to play this in my orchestra last year made me depressed LMAOO
Is is just me or does this sound like "See You Tomorrow" from How To Train Your Dragon?
Great musical piece.❤
Is there a way to fix the name? There's no "e" in "Copland."
ya, google this monster now. see what you get
yea pretty messed up
Who is listening this July in 2024 ?
Beef, it's whats for dinner.
@2:12 - nearly got 'em! The audience. A wry mini-smile from the pretty principal violinist as a bonus, plus a free-range string on her bow.
OH NO SO MANY MEMORIES- I love this piece but hate playing it lol
TIL I learned there are black people in Russia
God loves you nothing can separate you from the love that God has for you Jesus came down on this world so we could be born again and be forgiven of our sins be thankful for that
When a song is so good you forget to breathe.
Great performance, but nobody smiling..
pork..its whats for dinner. ew! what an awful piece for that commercial
I want a steak now, for some reason...
can confirm i was underprepared and we had 3 days to get this ready for a concert
Beyond words - extraordinary, exquisite, dramatic, transcendent, love it
In my opinion this performance, as well done as it is, still makes me yearn for the complete orchestra. The brass in particular is just not replaced by strings.
I’ve played this song before and people ALWAYS CLAP EARLY 2:13 happened when we performed, and it happens in most recordings I watch
Nobody associates such a beautiful piece of music with chicken or pork, or vegetables for that matter 🥩
beautiful
I actually had to learn the first violin part in 2 weeks because I decided to play violin and viola in high school.
Bravo!
Duluth bay front cam
That’s gorgeous. This was composed in 1919, way before Rhapsody in Blue in 1924. One of the best lullabies imo !
He was a student of Rubin Goldmark, and this was a homework assignment.
ELP
Omg I need to play this for symphony jh region!!! This is a tricky piece but y’all make it look so easy!
I just got into my regional orchestra and this is one of the pieces 🥲
Same omg katy houston and alief region?
@@evelyn-pe2zm yeah
@@evelyn-pe2zm I found another region person this way actually
@@evelyn-pe2zm what instrument are you? Also what rank?
@@St0nky I’m actually bass but I kinda suck bc I haven’t been practicing the pieces a lot lol hopefully I don’t embarrass myself in front of symphony
Stunning!
So nice! I love this team.
Even better is the Montclaire String Quartet's performance ruclips.net/video/qDwIlk_wrWE/видео.html. They give the edges and bounce that the best lullabies have--and which the diverse George Gershwin wrote so well!

The marimba ads so much...
Lovely playing per your norm:-)
Brillant and virtuoso performance.❤❤❤
Wow-- brilliant !
audience starts yelling out "beef" beef at end
bravo
Beautiful performance!where we can find the score?
There is a quartet score with four parts available from a lot of music shops. Or online.
This piece reminds me of Vivaldi's Winter, Inverno. Both very intricate, difficult pieces of beautiful music.
Why do I see horses running when i listen to this?
Just wicked
No freaking sound all I see is part of an orchestra playing their instruments why and what's going on why can't I not hear any g-string please
Hit like if you remember this from the beef ads in the 90's
plays this to a montage of steaks on the grill...
Sounds faboulous considering only 14 musicians play this work .Is it the genuine arrangement for string orchestera made by Copland himself?
11:16 HPND
Next to my late beloved mother‘s love, this masterpiece they play with exquisite technique is the most wonderful
Chaos.
